Yardage Calc estimates the yardage needed when the width of the selected fabric is not listed on the pattern envelope.
With Yardage Calc, you can:
• Estimate the yardage needed when purchasing fabric of a different width than listed on the pattern envelope
• Convert yards to meters
• Convert meters to yards
With Yardage Calc, you wont be limited to purchasing fabric in the standard 45" and 60" widths listed on pattern envelopes. Simply select the fabric width, yardage, and new width and Yardage Calc will display the estimated new yardage.
Note: Calculation values are based on standard yardage conversion charts. Yardage conversion available for inputs up to 5 ¼ yards at 32" width and up to 2 ¾ yards at 66" width. Directional fabrics and large or unusual pattern pieces may require additional fabric. Meters to yards calculations are rounded up to the nearest 1/8 of a yard.
